We are seeking volunteers to help with our exciting summer camps!
Come out to GuitarStars / Rock*A*Delphia volunteer info session on: Tuesday, June 26th 2018 @ Rock to the Future (5:30pm-7pm)
Summer Camp Volunteers: GuitarStars is a summer camp for kids ages 7-12. They learn to play guitar or bass guitar, are put into bands with their peers, and take part in creative workshops from 8am - 5pm, July 9-13, 2018. Rock*A*Delphia is a summer camp for youth ages 13-17. They learn to play guitar, bass guitar, drums or piano and are put into bands with their peers, and do arts and crafts from 8am - 5pm, July 23-27. The week-long camps culminate with a performance by the kids that is open to the community.
Volunteers should be comfortable with kids in these age ranges. Some volunteer responsibilities include overseeing creative workshops and helping students on guitar, bass guitar, keyboards or drums. Being able to read music is a plus but not a requirement. Volunteers do not need to have any musical knowledge to volunteer.
Volunteers must be 18 years old or older and have graduated high school (or have a GED).
