Rock to the Future's Teen Music Lounge presents February teaching artist Shakina Small, known as Shakina the Poet. Shakina is a speaker and spoken word artist. Join us on Friday, 2/9/18 - The Art of Creative Expression: Learn how to express yourself through words and performance poetry, and the difference between poetry and spoken word. Plus, acting and drama 101, featuring ad-libs, improv, and basic skit writing.
The Teen Music Lounge is a free, drop-in program at Rock to the Future. On Fridays, 4-6 pm, teens aged 13-17 are welcome to stop by 2139 E Cumberland St. in Fishtown to learn music, create their own projects, and collaborate with other teens. Free, Drop-In, No Experience Necessary.
